Anne has a lifelong love of music and a huge amount of experience as a choral singer, soloist, and member of the 'Dedicated Divas' a Christian UK/Europen touring all-female vocal ensemble.
From an early age, she was surrounded by all kinds of music – from Bach to Broadway – and has gone on to sing in some wonderful venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall in New York, and many churches/concert venues across the UK.
Anne is never happier than when she’s singing and conducting The Village Voices, sharing her passion, energy, and love of music with the choir.
She also works at a local independent school as part of the Music and Performing Arts Department, teaching Nursery to Year 2 children the basics of music and helping them discover the joy of singing.
She is married to Gareth and has a son, Adam, twin daughters Imogen and Olivia, and a much-loved grandson, Tyler.

Our members often talk about the joy of performing, the laughter at rehearsals, and the strong friendships formed along the way.
“A wonderful evening spent in good company – a thoroughly enjoyable night,” said Brenda after a concert. “We all had a wonderful evening,” added Julie.
Elaine commented,
“Fabulous smiles and fabulous outfits matched the singing!”
For many, The Village Voices is about far more than music. It offers friendship, encouragement, and support – sometimes at moments when it’s needed most. That sense of care and connection is what makes our choir so special.
